On July 4, in the city of Berlin, a Joint Statement of Intentions was signed between the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Parties) on the continuation of cooperation in the field of advanced training of executives in the field of economics.
The joint statement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan - Vice Minister Yermek Alpysov, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy of Germany - Deputy Minister Ulrich Nusbaum.
German-Kazakh cooperation in the implementation of the Executive Development Program is scheduled until 2022.
During the meeting of the Management Committee on the tool for advanced training of top and middle managers and the establishment of business relations with foreign partners, the parties noted the effective work of the agencies in developing and strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries.
The parties note that the training and professional development of leading cadres and managerial reserve in the economic sphere will make a significant contribution to the further development of bilateral relations.
According to the adopted document, the German side is ready to bear all expenses arising in connection with the implementation of the Program on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
At the same time, the Kazakh side declares its readiness to attract a sufficient number of candidates with an appropriate level of professional qualifications, as well as to conduct a transparent selection of participants together with the German coordinators. In the process of selecting participants for the Program, equal opportunities will be provided for all candidates and the involvement of regions of the country in the Program. In addition, the Kazakh side intends to organize and conduct a course to prepare participants for an internship in Germany.
The results of the Program will be reviewed in the framework of the German-Kazakhstan Management Committee, which will be held on a regular basis.
The Program will be coordinated from the German side by the German Society for International Cooperation GmbH (GiZ), and from the Kazakh side by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Atameken or another Kazakhstan organization.
