Council for Cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development

The Council for Cooperation with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (hereinafter referred to as the Council) is a consultative and advisory body under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, formed by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 12, 2014 No. 266 in order to effectively interact with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The tasks of the Council are:

1) coordination of initiatives and programs of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (hereinafter - the Organization), implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) together with state bodies, ensuring an effective process of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Organization;

3) development of proposals for the implementation of the standards and recommendations of the Organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the Council is the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the SES includes the following: Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; ministers of national economy, finance, investment and development and other heads of state bodies; Chairman of the Board of JSC National Analytical Center.

Meetings of the Council are held as necessary, but not less than once in a half-year.
