Information systems and information electronic resources of the Ministry

1.      Electronic information resources

1.1

Information-analytical system "Taldau"

The system is implemented with the aim of providing the population, state bodies, enterprises and organizations with all relevant statistical information on statistical indicators in a convenient interactive mode.

IAS "Taldau" gives the chance of search of a statistical indicator, data representation in various table, graphic and cartographic types and cuts; visualization of data according to specified conditions; providing tools for data analysis; unloading the selected data or analysis results in accessible generally accepted formats, creating a User's Personal Cabinet for continuous data updating.

2.      Information Systems

2.1

Integrated information system "e-Statistics"

The integrated information system "e-Statistics" is a complete automation of statistical processes, including the ability to receive statistical forms in the online mode, storage and processing of statistical data, viewing and analysis of statistical information.

Currently, IIS "e-Statistics" is certified for compliance with information security requirements and since January 1, 2015 it has been put into commercial operation.

IIS "e-Statistics" currently unites 15 integrated IPs developed on the Oracle platform:

1) Internal Intranet Portal (hereinafter referred to as VIP) - is a single point of access to the components of IIS "e-Statistics";

2) Information system "CLASS" (hereinafter - IS CLASS);

3) Information system "Metadata" (hereinafter - EC Metadata);

4) Vault of primary statistical data;

5) Information system for processing primary statistical and administrative information - operational and qualitative processing of primary statistical data;

6) Register systems (4 IS: IP Statistical Population Register, Statistical Business Register IS, Statistical Register of Housing Fund, Agricultural Statistical Register) - systematization of the statistical survey units used in the production of statistical information ;

7) Database of aggregated indicators - centralized storage of all aggregated indicators of the Committee;

8) Database of administrative information - designed for loading, transformation, unification, storage of primary information from administrative sources (external information systems of government agencies);

9) Integration component - it is intended for interaction with the information system IC on data exchange;

10) Information system "Data collection in on-line mode";

11) Internet resource of the Committee;

12) Information-analytical system.

From the above systems 3 are designed for an external user and are available on the Internet, these are:

1) Information system "Data collection in on-line mode" - was developed in order to reduce the burden on respondents. Respondents can submit their reports while staying at the workplace using the electronic digital signature of the National Certification Authority through the Internet resource of the Committee www.stat.gov.kz or through https://cabinet.stat.gov.kz.

2) The Internet resource of the Committee www.stat.gov.kz - one of the priority components of the IIS "e-Statistics", is the most important channel for the dissemination of statistical information, where always relevant and reliable statistics;

3) Information and Analytical System "Taldau" - The system is implemented with the purpose of providing all population, state bodies, enterprises and organizations with all relevant statistical information on statistical indicators in a convenient interactive mode.

IAS "Taldau" provides the ability to search for a statistical indicator, the presentation of data in various tabular, graphical and cartographic types and cuts; visualization of data according to specified conditions; providing tools for data analysis; unloading the selected data or analysis results in accessible generally accepted formats, creating a User's Personal Cabinet for continuous data updating.

2.2

Information system "Computerized Individual Survey System"

Within the framework of the CASSTAT project, the Committee developed the Computerized Individual Interrogation System (CSIO). The system is designed to collect primary data on household surveys and price registration. The main task of the system is to automate the collection of primary data using tablet devices.

This method will minimize errors in data entry, save labor resources by eliminating the duplication of data entry on different media, optimize the work of interviewers, reduce the use of forms on paper carriers, and improve the quality of statistical data.

At present, the system of the AISIS is integrated with the Integrated Information System "e-Statistics" of the Committee for the purpose of storing and processing data received through the FISS in a centralized system.

At present the system is put into commercial operation.

2.3

Information system "Computerized telephone inquiry system"

Within the framework of the KAZSTAT project, the Committee is working on the implementation of a new method of data collection - the Computerized Telephone Interrogation System (CCTS).

The goal of the creation of CCT is to automate the collection of primary data through a telephone survey of respondents in remote areas, in particular on agricultural statistics.

This method will ensure the completeness of respondents' coverage, shorten the time for receiving reports from respondents, and shorten the time for entering data into the system.

Currently, the CCST system has been developed and integrated with the Integrated Information System "e-Statistics" of the Committee for the purpose of storing and processing data received through the CCRT in a centralized system.

At the moment, the system is in trial operation and work is being carried out for introduction into commercial operation.
